"Hypocalcemia due to thyroidectomy. Started with .5mcg calcitriol for 2 years and kidney function started deteriorating. Endo took me off calcitriol and put me on tums and vitamin d. Kidney function is back to normal and no hypo symptoms."

Calcium Liquid Softgel (calcium carbonate) "I love these because my nails grow and are strong. The other forms of calcium don't do that."
